Erick Sermon Net Worth $7 Million
Erick Sermon was raised in a family of three siblings, Kim Sermon, and Tomara Sermon, by their parents. His professional career began in the late 1980s, when he co-founded the rap trio called EPMD, consisting of PMD and DJ Scratch. They released seven studio albums in total, however, the trio operated through hiatus, and changes in the line-up. Their first album came out in 1988, entitled “Strictly Business”, which topped the US R&BHip-Hop chart, and achieved gold status. Since then, every album they would release achieved gold status, which not only increased Eric`s net worth, but it also helped him boost his career. Albums such as “Unfinished Business” (1989), “Business as Usual” (1990), topped the US R&BHip-Hop chart, and both achieved gold status, and albums “Business Never Personal” (1992), “Out of Business” (1998), certainly increased Erick`s wealth.
He has also had a successful career as a solo artist, so far releasing seven studio albums, including “No Pressure” in 1993, which was his debut album, “Double or Nothing” (1995), “Erick Onasis” (2000), “Music” (2001), “React” (2002), and “Chilltown, New York” (2004), which have increased his net worth by a large margin. He then took a break from his solo career, but returned in 2015 with the release of the album “E.S.P. (Erick Sermon’s Perception)”.
Erick has also been recognized as a producer, collaborating with several famous artists of the American r&B and hip-hop scene, including K-Solo, Run-D.M.C, Jodeci, Blackstreet, Keith Murray, Method Man, Redman, Jay-Z, LL Cool J, Ja Rule, 50 Cent, Xzibit, among many others, which has added to his net worth.
When it comes to speak about his personal life, there is no information about Erick Sermon in the media, as he obviously keeps it to himself. However, he has had a few health problems in the past, suffering a heart attack in 2011, from which he has managed to recover. His current residence is in Islandia, New York. In free time, he is active on social networks, such as Twitter and Facebook, through which he has a huge number of fans.
