Hey all, second time poster here, coming again with my probably-too-easy-to-see problem, but last time you were all so helpful I figure I'd come here to put my mind at ease.

THE PROBLEM
So two days ago I bought a long ethernet cable to up my speeds to my gaming rig. The speeds I am getting are very nice and in line to the improvement I expected to see/the speeds I pay for. That is not the issue. The issue is that yesterday, at 4 different times throughout the day, the wired connection just...dropped, for around 5 or so seconds, then came right back up. Did Speed Tests right after each drop and all of the speeds were correct.
This might see as an extremely minor inconvinece but when gaming and streaming it can be a rather pain in the ass, not to mention that if I did get a faulty cable I need to order a new one.
Now, when I run the Windows Diagnostic Tool I get this message:
Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding
Which I basically have no idea what that means or how to go about fixing it. I get that message when fully connected to the internet btw. I also get this information in the Diagnostic Information (Network Adapter) section:

In case that helps. I've also power cycled the modem but the message about the DNS still shows, and i've tried switching LAN ports on the modem itself to no avail.

EDIT: The problem is still on going. I have tried another device on the network and it appears to only come up on my PC. DNS flush through command didn't help.
EDIT 2: After some searching online and finding a user-reported service issue, it appears to be that my ISP was/is having issues in the area. The user-reported issue graph spiked up right around the time I had my internet drop, except other users are having way longer downtime. I am marking this as solved, for now, as it appears to be that and not exactly my PC. I wanna thank everybody that helped me throughout and helped me achieve some peace of mind.
